Top Designers Offer Designs For Michelle Obama's Inauguration Dress
First Lady Michelle Obama is being courted by the denizens of fashion's high court in the hopes that she will choose one of their designs to wear at what will surely be the party event of the new century. Among the 35 sketches of those who've submitted designs are: Christian Lacroix, Carolina Herrera, Karl Lagerfeld, Koi Suwanagate, and Marc Jacobs. To peep more click here. although i think she should choose a us-based designer, christian lacroix's sketches of her are so beautiful. how cute it is to wear couture accompanied with a little bejeweled american flag clutch?
there are a lot of nice looks in the slideshow. michelle could have a great working wardrobe by choosing several pieces, and really put a spotlight on american designers.
