Unfortunately, this one has already been remade with director Tony Scott and starring Denzel Washington for 2009. And I don't care who's in it, this is a quintessential New York Movie, brilliant in its attention to character detail and continuity, so don't fuck it up!

The Warriors 1979

Another NY flick that's being remade by Tony Scott for release in 2010. Damn. I'll keep my eye on this one. And they'd better not relocate the setting to LA like the travesty that was Escape From LA.
