RNC Candidate Pushes Racist Obama Song Parody

Republican National Congress candidate Chip Saltsman sent out a Christmas Christmas CD which included a song called “Barack the Magic Negro,” first played on the Rush Limbaugh radio show.

According to an article in The Hill Saltsman, sent the CD along with a note to national committee members, which read, “I look forward to working together in the New Year.” “Please enjoy the enclosed CD by my friend Paul Shanklin of the Rush Limbaugh Show.

The song has been around for awhile. It was first played on fellow weighty Republican Limbaugh’s show in March 2007 and allegedly originated from an opinion column in the Los Angeles Times, written by David Ehrenstein, which implied that Obama's success is the result of white guilt. It is sung from the perspective and mock voice of Al Sharpton and includes the lyric, “See, real black men, like Snoop Dogg, or me, or Farrakhan, have talked the talk, and walked the walk, not come in late and won.”

Saltsman issued the statement, “Paul Shanklin (the soung's writer/parodist) is a long-time friend, and I think that RNC members have the good humor and good sense to recognize that his songs for the Rush Limbaugh show are light-hearted political parodies.”

First off, have you ever heard of a funny Republican politician? They're mostly nasty, humorless people who apply to the most base sense of so-called humor with a total absence of subtlety, nuance or wit. As for the supposed parody itself, while incorporating all these qualities, it's blatantly racist and just plain not funny . And I could appreciate even the most offensive material. If it's funny. Also, with all the problems the Replicacan party is experiencing, including an outgoing lame duck president, the major loss of Senate seats and the undertaking of a massive overhaul of their image and message, could it be that they're just hopelessly clueless?

EPIC FAIL.

Here's the proof:

Do a Clueless Republican a favor today, and give them a rigorous shake and a slap. They'll thank you for it later.

RNC are a bunch of racists bastards. I guess they must do something to make their sore loser KKK base feel better.
